Painting Title: Just Desserts. (AKA Salt & Pepper)
Painting Description: “Just Desserts” is a painting in photorealistic style, portraying Salt and Pepper each sitting at the end of a table, with various spices resting at the center of it. Both of them are looking directly at the viewer with a challenging expression. The table itself is placed on top of some sort of dais, and the path leading to it looks more than a little hard to navigate-- with sharp rocks, bones and traps laid out all over it. In the background, you can see what looks like ruins overrun by nature-- looking like they’re in the middle of a jungle.
Portrait World: Games will be held in various . . . well, they're basically half-overgrown ruins, for the most part! Ancient and crumbling, with flora climbing the walls and carpeting the floors. Some may be partially flooded, and, in some, the flora will be joined by fauna. In these main areas, there's
always at least a patch of sky visible; the weather varies, but whether this phenomena is based on the mood of the siblings, the nature of the game at hand, or something else, it's hard to say. Should characters attempt to leave, they'll either find themselves just mysteriously unable to, or hampered by the environment. When
did that curtain of thorned, blood-sucking vines get there. . .?

Painting Personality: Pepper is a quirky survivalist! She's super into self-sufficiency and personal strength—both physical and mental, though with an emphasis upon physical. Hunt your own food! Build your own traps! Use your environment to your advantage! If stabbing something in the face will get you mauled, stab it in the back! She's cheerfully a jerk, casually blunt, and her games can be cruel, but pain to her is just a means to an end. It's about overcoming obstacles—it's about surviving, and about living. She tends to be more chipper and blase than Salt, and she enjoys action, thinking on the fly, and creativity. SHE'S LIKE THE EXECUTION TO HIS STRATEGIZATION.
She's easily bored and thrives on challenges, especially when she's the one giving them. Being the challenged party can annoy her, but while she can be incredibly dismissive of people (especially when it comes to feelings) and concepts that don't catch her attention, she's also pretty prideful. Another thing that strikes a chord with her is broships and teamwork. She's independent and thinks dependency is pretty dumb (also, sappy feelings are gross!!!1), but believes that teamwork is both legit and commendable (in games and outside of them, she'll tend to favor those with independence, initiative,
and/or those which make themselves a valuable part of the team. Conversely, disloyalty is a very good way to earn active disdain).
Like Pepper, Salt is very much a survivalistic kind of guy-- but he puts emphasis on overcoming hardships while using your brain. Where Pepper has a more hands-down practical approach to things and is very straightforward, Salt values getting things done in a smart and efficient way. A strategist, so to speak, and he’s the type to taunts and more casually insults anyone who doesn’t earn his respect by proving themselves up to his challenges.
Basically a sarcastic asshole, but not cruel for no reason. Like Pepper he sees pain as a means to an end, and fully expects PCs to overcome the obstacles laid out their way.
Though he highly values teamwork and bromance, he also values individual action quite a lot. A single individual who can turn on the tables of an entire game will earn his respect and thus a certain amount of favor-- but only if such action will ultimately gain victory for the team itself. However, he detests those who would abandon teammates or friends to save themselves.
For Salt, victory is pretty much everything..! He doesn’t give losers the time of a day unless it’s to insult and laugh at them (which he is very much prone to do), and he very much believes in the law of the jungle. The strongest survive and stay at the top, the losers get eaten alive (sometimes literally).
Painting Role: Salt and Pepper value overcoming mental and physical hardship, personal strength, active survival, strategy and instinct, and teamwork/broships. Not all of their games will be traumatic, but for the most part, they will be practical rather than compassionate/feelings-based! (Pepper may occasionally deviate jjjust a lil' to run something like a tattoo game.) Survival-based, 'dealing damage to other teams while doing ones best to protect their own'-style games are one of their fortes, along with 'build a thing and then use it to compete against the other teams'-types. Whether they award memories/skills or items vary upon their moods; they really don't give a damn about the PCs, but while they're jerks, they don't hate without a reason.
