[When the shifting has stopped, it becomes immediately apparent that something is very, very wrong. A large dilapidated and destroyed shrine room--recognizable from several of her memories--stands with holes left in the roof and light streaming through it illuminating the area.]
['Illumination' is probably a strong word though, as even the light filtering down from an obviously sunny day is left dimmed and dulled by an oppressive aura throughout the area. Things seem subdued like a TV whose color, brightness and contrast have all been turned down. The shadows themselves seem to be moving, shifting and writhing out of the corners of your eyes, though of course looking to confirm this will see nothing at all.]
[The entire room is empty and destroyed, furniture overturned or split cleanly in half with unnatural perfection. There are traces of blood about as well, and the room itself somehow feels unsettled at the sudden intrusion. There are the barest, whispers in the hundreds, to quiet to make out the words. Some sound curious, some sound friendly enough. Most sound violent.]
